Salesforce Announces Koa CRM Reasoning Model, With Pilots Underway

September 16, 2026

Salesforce and NVIDIA announced Koa, a reasoning model for Salesforce’s Agentforce platform. The release is dated September 15 and was published on Salesforce’s India newsroom on September 16.

How Salesforce describes Koa

Koa is built on NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super and is designed for multistep CRM workflows. Salesforce says it used synthetic enterprise scenarios for training, rather than customer data.

The company says it controls the model weights and runs post-training and inference within its own infrastructure. Stated uses include working through sales and customer-service processes that require several actions and tool calls.

Availability

  • Select customers can access Koa through Agentforce pilots now.
  • General availability is expected in US regions during winter 2026.

The announced schedule is a forward-looking company plan, not confirmation of a worldwide release.

Related enterprise deployment plans

The collaboration also includes NVIDIA models for Missionforce. Salesforce says selected customers will receive post-trained models for Missionforce Operations in October 2026.

Performance and deployment descriptions in the announcement are vendor claims; this article does not present an independent evaluation.
