Waymo adds Ramp expense integration as service areas expand

October 28, 2026

Waymo announced a Ramp integration on October 28 that connects business ride receipts with corresponding expense charges. The update extends the company’s corporate travel offering as it also enlarges several US service areas.

Automatic receipt matching

Waymo says receipts from Waymo for Business rides can flow directly into Ramp and match the associated charge, reducing the need to locate and attach receipts manually. Businesses using Ramp can contact Waymo’s team to activate the integration.

The announcement concerns expense administration. It does not make autonomous rides available everywhere a company operates; trips still depend on Waymo’s service coverage.

Five markets gain coverage

In a separate October 27 announcement, Waymo said it would add nearly 250 square miles over the following week across Los Angeles, Nashville, Orlando, San Diego and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Examples include Torrance in Los Angeles’ South Bay, La Jolla in San Diego and an extension toward Berryessa BART in the Bay Area. Orlando’s service area is set to nearly double. These are market-specific additions, rather than a claim of unrestricted citywide coverage.
